Pro A/V Calibration owner, Tom Schulte, is an audio/video systems engineer with an extensive background in electronics systems test, calibration, and service as well as electronics test instrumentation design and usage. He brings a unique blend of cutting-edge knowledge and experience, aquired through many years of industry involvement, to your home or business A/V system. Through Pro A/V Calibration, he is involved in the calibration of home theater and business A/V systems to provide more life-like, engaging entertainment experiences and high-impact business systems. For the past several years he has been particularly involved in the development and support of home audio/video systems installation and calibration instrumentation. He has developed numerous video and audio training courses and seminars and has presented training/sales seminars and industry-customized on-site technical training seminars across the U.S. and Canada for over ten years.
Previous to this, Tom was an electronics instructor at Mitchell Technical Institute in Mitchell, SD, where he taught video systems, radio communications systems, digital control circuits, microprocessors, electronics systems troubleshooting procedures, service center management, and basic electronics theory. And, previous to that, Tom administered an electronics service center and serviced televisions, stereos, and mobile radios.
Tom received his electronics education at South Dakota State University and Mitchell Technical Institute. He currently serves on the Electronics Department Advisory Boards at Mitchell Technical Institute, Mitchell, SD; at Southeast Technical Institute, Sioux Falls, SD; and at Brookings Multi-District Vocational School, Brookings, SD.
