There are five user controls found on all television displays. These user controls are the Brightness, Contrast (Picture), Color, Hue (Tint), and Sharpness controls. Although there are times when some educated user adjustment of these controls is beneficial, they should usually be left at (or returned to) a calibrated preset position. On-screen user controls usually have a center, preset position. This is usually the position that all controls are returned to when "Factory Preset" is selected in the user menu.
We will calibrate the preset position of the user controls, using master service controls, to provide the most accurate picture with the controls in these positions. Later, when the Preset function is selected in the user menu, all controls will be reset for an accurate, calibrated picture.
